Carrier Intelligence was founded by Lorus Byers, a seasoned logistics leader with a passion for solving one of the industry’s toughest challenges: finding and keeping great drivers. Lorus began his career at C.H. Robinson, the largest third-party logistics provider in the U.S. and a top-five global player. Starting as a freight broker, he quickly rose through the ranks — setting company records and eventually leading as a Branch Manager at the largest CHR complex in the country. There, he oversaw a team of more than 60 sales reps and built one of the most successful sales divisions in the company.
